Choose what data you share with Lightworks.
Your financial data is always private
Your watchlist, portfolio holdings, purchase prices, and account details are never shared with anyone — not even Lightworks. The toggles below only apply to optional, anonymized data you choose to contribute.
Share anonymized data about how you use the app (pages visited, features used). Helps us understand which features are most valuable. No personal or financial data is included.
Contribute anonymized, aggregated data about portfolio performance (e.g. average returns by sector). Individual holdings and amounts are never shared. Used to build market-trend insights.
Automatically send error reports when something breaks. Helps us fix bugs faster. Reports include technical details (stack traces, browser info) but never your financial data.
Receive occasional emails about new features, improvements, and announcements. You can unsubscribe at any time.
What we always collect
To provide the service, your account information (email address, name) is stored by our authentication provider, Clerk. Your watchlist symbols and purchase records are stored in our database, linked to your user ID. This data is required to run the app.
What we never collect
- Your purchase prices or cost basis
- Your total portfolio value or returns
- Any financial account numbers or brokerage credentials
- Your location or device identifiers
Data deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us at LightworksSupport@gmail.com. Data is removed from our systems within 30 days.
