1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Lightworks (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of the Service

Lightworks is a personal finance and stock-tracking tool that allows you to maintain a watchlist of securities, view real-time market data, and track a personal investment portfolio. The Service is provided for informational and personal record-keeping purposes only.

3. Not financial advice

Nothing on Lightworks constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. All market data, quotes, and analytics are provided for informational purposes only. You should consult a qualified financial advisor before making any investment decisions. Lightworks is not a registered broker, dealer, investment advisor, or financial planner.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Lightworks. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.

5. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at LightworksSupport@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or systematically extract data from the Service
• Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Use the Service to redistribute market data in violation of any data provider's terms

7. Market data

Stock quotes and market data displayed in the Service are sourced from third-party providers (including Yahoo Finance) and may be delayed. We make no guarantee as to the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any market data. You agree not to redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit market data obtained through the Service.

8. Intellectual property

All content, branding, design, and code comprising the Service (excluding user-generated data) is owned by or licensed to Lightworks. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

9. Your data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Service (watchlist entries, portfolio records, notes). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. 10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIGHTWORKS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $10 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST TWELVE MONTHS.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including breach of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at LightworksSupport@gmail.com. Sections 3, 8, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction, as applicable.
